On July 25th, my twin nephews were born!! My sister-in-law went in that morning and delivered them by c-section. They were both healthy and over 7 pounds each. A whole 14 pounds of baby! I think she is incredible and amazing for all that it took to get them here!
World, meet Noah and Matthew!
A few weeks before they were born, Nicole asked me if I would take pictures of Olivia meeting her baby brothers at the hospital for the first time. I couldn't jump at the chance fast enough and feel so honored that she asked me to do that for them! The hardest part about photographing hospital rooms is that there is next to no natural light which makes for more grainy photos. I'm still proud of how they turned out and think there is something so special about them in black and white.
I teared up behind the camera as she walked into the room with a bouquet of flowers for her momma and a stuffed bear and puppy for each one of her new brothers. It was such a sweet moment to watch!
A few of my favorite photos from that day ...
Even though they were 7 pound babies they looked so tiny. It's true what they say ... you forget how small they really are when they are first born.
Proud grandmas!
I can't pinpoint why but this is one of my favorite pictures I took that day. There is just something so special about all of them together and so sweet about the way they were looking at each other!
Livy Lou, you are the best big sister there is!
So happy for this sweet family!
