I picked this cutie up from preschool and it launched us right into Thanksgiving break! He came home in this adorable turkey hat he made to celebrate the holiday and often has his buddy "meow" riding in the car with him, even if he couldn't go to preschool too.
He hasn't had the best preschool experience this year until Miss Tammy stepped in the couple weeks leading up to Thanksgiving break. He asked her as he was leaving, "Can I take a picture with you so I'll never forget what you look like while I'm gone?" HOW SWEET IS THAT!!!
Before we knew it, Nic was off work for a long weekend and the Thanksgiving celebrating began! My dad and Edie hosted this year and Lyla couldn't wait to see "Gert Gert" seconds after we walked into the door. Look at that smile!
Pa and Grams first picture with all 8 of their grand kids ... we had the sweetest tie made for my dad for Christmas this year with this picture on the back of it!
Edie gave the big girl cousins some money to practice their babysitting and to play with the younger cousins so the adults could enjoy each other's company post dinner. They did such a great job! Look at how much fun they had ...
This was the first year we celebrated with my whole family together and it was nice not to have to bounce between houses and just all be together.
So grateful for my people!
Thanksgiving was so late in the season this year that everything was covered in Christmas by the end of it. My brother kindly helped hang my mom's Christmas lights while he was in town and I made sure Griswold didn't fall off the roof ...
Happy belated Thanksgiving from our family to yours! XO
