First Snow

It has snowed here a couple of times already this season but both times, it had melted by noon. Basically before we could ever get our acts together and get outside to play in it! haha Thankfully it snowed a little bit more in the last couple weeks and it felt like our first real snow fall! It has been so cold here that it has stuck around ever since so Nic took Liam out to play in it one day and they built this adorable little snowman together ...

 Then I took him out the next day while Lyla was napping ... 

His gloves are about 10 sizes too big for him so it is hilarious watching him try to pick up a snowball!! haha I've since gotten him smaller ones where his fingers somewhat fill out the mittens.

I pulled him around the yard in that sled you see behind him and was wishing I hadn't already worked out that morning! Broke out in a sweat! haha

He always goes for the chunks of snow/ice that are the size of his head to haul around the yard. I asked him to show me his snowball for a picture and it practically covered his whole face. haha

Then in true boy fashion, a snowball fight began!

When your neighbor is snow blowing their driveway and you have "fear of missing out" ... a lawn mower is the next best thing!!

The weather forecast shows some cold days ahead so I imagine our snow will remain but we have our fingers crossed for a white Christmas so we can go sledding! Snow days with no plans are the very best!!
