I have been a terrible blogger. {just thought I'd throw that out there in case ya didn't notice} Where does the time go though? Seriously. I meant to post about our Labor Day weekend right when we got back and then I had to catch up on all of the homework I didn't do over the weekend. Then I meant to post it just about every day over the next week but yet again, homework was an issue. Then I meant to post it this last weekend............ and well, you get the picture. I guess what I'm trying to say is school has officially started my friends and I'm not going to complain one bit because it looks nothing like it did last year thankgoodness.
It was so fun to get to spend Labor Day weekend with my mom in Boise. It turned out to be quite the action packed trip. Friday night Nic about died and went to heaven at dinner {Carino's}. Apparently I've been depriving him of pasta for dinner around here.
Saturday we rented bikes and rode them on the greenbelt until we got to the Saturday market downtown. We spent the next hour or so shuffling from one booth to the next, a little too close for comfort with random strangers if you know what I mean. We'd try a sample and be pushed right along so fast that we had NO idea what we were even eating. That's probably not a good thing. ha My two favorite parts... the fresh cut flower stand and of course, the people watching.
After paroosing the booths we went on our merry way and continued our bike ride down the green belt. Right about the time my you know what was screaming from having not ridden a bike in years {kind of like riding a horse... it's an unfortunate experience}, I figured it was about time we turn around. We found a quaint little brick oven pizza place to eat downtown. They even brought our receipt in a vintage can, THE cutest.
Saturday night we drove up to Starlight Mountain Theatre which, for those of you who have never been, is a wooden outdoor theatre up in the mountains. I'd seen the play we went to several years ago but I didn't remember it being so hilarious!

Hahahaha I love the bike part. Garrett and I got bikes several months ago and we don't ride very often but every time we do I complain. It hurts and is so uncomfortable! The picture of the flowers is so pretty and it looks like y'all had a fun weekend!
