I think we are due for an update around here.
Nic's days pretty much consist of work from 8-5, followed by several hours of slaving away at his Master's program. with
He works so hard for our family and I couldn't be more grateful to him for that.
My days are filled with 23 credits worth of homework, 14 of which require class time and working at the Dental Hygiene Clinic on campus with the other spare hours of my day.
Basically, we look forward to our weekends together. They give us with the extra hours we need to get our homework done, and those few hours on Friday afternoons making our usual Costco trip for groceries (maybe a little sampling too), followed by catching up on the latest One Tree Hill and Grey's Anatomy episodes.
The highlight of this week - I took my first bath in our apartment and forgot how much stress they relieve. {I'm really in need of that right about now considering the two lovely cold sores smothering my lips, reallllll attractive let me tell you}.
Needless to say, it was so nice to have some me time.
Despite my 3-month-old manicured toes, paint chipped and all, I felt truly pampered.
This three day weekend has been heaven and the best part about it,
Nic has it off with me too.

On another note - Our first Valentine's day married was absolutely perfect.
There were...
candles,
love letters,
a dozen beautiful red roses,
a heart-felt conversation card game,
and chocolate covered strawberries.
Sticky Finger Rice Bowls were on the menu for dinner,
with a deep dish chocolate chip cookie with ice cream for dessert.
Oh and Edward, Bella, and Jacob were there. My first movie marathon.
I may have fallen asleep 20 minutes in to the fourth, brand new movie that I had been dying to watch ever since we bought it on Saturday, but it made for a fun second Valentine's night on Wednesday.
It was the perfect day.
I didn't get any pictures of us together but I assure you, I had one HANDSOME Valentine.
xoxo
