Have some rotting bananas around your house? Yeah, me too.
We just can't seem to eat them fast enough around here.

This recipe is TO.DIE.FOR.
From my sweet old roommate, Naomi.
Ingredients:
1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 c sugar
2/3 c shortening
2 eggs
1 c mashed bananas
1 1/2 c quick oats
bag of chocolate chips
1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 c sugar
2/3 c shortening
2 eggs
1 c mashed bananas
1 1/2 c quick oats
bag of chocolate chips
1. Combine all of your dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
2. Next, add in butter, eggs, and mashed banana {which I just did in my measuring cup, I didn't want to do any more dishes than I had to, ha!} and whip them together.
3. Add your bag of chocolate chips. Cook on a greased baking sheet at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
Makes a little over 3 dozen - so to avoid yourself from the gut wrenching pain that comes after devouring to0 many of these bad boys, you might wanna consider sharing with a neighbor. Been there, done that. Just sayin.
Oh YUM! These look amazing!! I'm your newest follower, loving your blog. You are gorgeous, girl! Would love it if you'd stop by ours too :)

See how you are, now I feel compelled to go buy bananas and let them start to go bad just so I can make some...I'm going to resist because I will be making chocolate cake later this week but these look sooooo yummy! Good luck with finals!
