Since we moved into our apartment together I have been dying to decorate! The only problem is that decorating can get expensive unless you get creative... so that's what I did, got creative!
I have had this lamp for several years now and in the past it has worked perfectly because lime green is usually part of my bedroom (one of my favorite colors) but when we moved in together it didn't match. Our bedroom colors are black, white, and red. A little paint, little fabric, a few buttons, and a new lamp shade and vwalaaa!!
I LOVE IT!!! It turned out exactly as I had hoped.
So cute! You forgot the secrets though.. spray paint? regular paint? finishes? no finishes? I NEED HELP!
ReplyDeleteI just used a regular squeeze bottle of paint and a sponge brush! It took probably four coats to get the bright red color that I wanted. No finishes necessary :)
