Sometimes it is hard to believe how fast 24 hours go in a day. These last couples weeks have been CRAZY! I've been meaning to write about what we have been up to but have had a hard time finding time away from school, wedding, moving, etc. BUT, as of today, I am officially finished with this semester (what a relief)! :) Not to mention.. I have A LOT to look forward to in just two short weeks.
So a couple weekends ago I was needing a break from it all so we decided to go to Lava Hot Springs. It was my first time going and I loved it, can't wait to go back! I lost my camera battery charger and it is officially dead... bummer. No pictures.
When we go to Lava we walked down to a cute little "oldies" ice cream shop and had a huckleberry shake mmmmm. It was heaven! Once we were freezing from that we "West walked" (which is what Nic refers to as practically jogging motion while walking) to get to the hot pools. It felt wonderful. I have been missing my hot tub from home and taking baths so it helped fulfill the need.
Then on Saturday afternoon we went to Walmart to get groceries and ohhhh the things you will see in a Walmart parking lot.
Old Lady #1: Winco bag strapped to her head with 100 mile an hour winds haha funniest thing of my life
Old Lady #2: Strapped her pill bottle to her windshield with her wiper blade! What? Do I need glasses?? haha
I kid you not.
Both of these are 100% true.
Some days, I think that I could just park my car in the Walmart parking lot ALL day for free entertainment!
The next time I will be posting I will most likely be a married woman!
The countdown has become bearable... 2 weeks
I'm so super excited to hear the wonderfulness that will be your wedding day. You sound like you had a very fun filled while still hectic couple of weeks. Congrats on finishing finals. I think it is truly one of the best feelings in the world. Good luck with all the final wedding plans! You guys will have a wonderful day I'm sure!
